12 years imprisonment for Kokuvil murder accused

Jaffna High Court Judge Ilancheliyan sentenced the accused in the Kokuvil murder accused to 12 years rigiorous imprisonment after trial.

In this case Ramanathan Kailasapillai was indicted with causing the muder of Philip Jeyanayagam of Kokuvil on April5, 2011. He was also ordered a fine of Rupees twenty five thousand indefault one year rigorous imprisonment.
