Tamil Governor needed to the North, says MP, Sivamohan

Vanni Member of Parliament, Sivamohan said yesterday that a Tamil Governor who are aware of the Geographical History of the Province should be appointed as the Governor of Northern Province.

Elaborating further he said that, a Tamil from Northern Province with complete understanding of the legacy of the Tamil people and with adequate knowledge and experience in Administrative matters.

A suspicion has aroused now as to the dragging back of appointment of a Governor to the North is an indication that a Governor with Military back ground will be appointed for the North.

Hence the Government should take a firm and clear decision with regard to the appointment of the Governor to the North, he said.
