Massive struggle on 1200th day , says the relatives of missing persons
The chair person of the Association for missing persons, K. Jeyavanitha said yesterday that their Association is to undertake a massive struggle on Monday in view of the completion of 1200 days of their struggle.
She said so in a media meeting held yesterday in Vavuniya. Elaborating further she said that in a notice published in connection with the 100 days work plan of former President, Maithripala Sirisena, there are four missing persons including my daughter Jeromy. Today is her birthday. On every birthday of our children, we are crying by the roadside expecting our children to return. These tears are flowing for 11 years now. Nobody has come forward to solve our distress. The promises given by everybody had given disappointment to us. I will continue this struggle till my child returns to me.
