CID  Obtains a statement from Wigneswaran, on his statement on Tamils the most ancient settlers of SL

The CID has obtained a statement from the former Chief Minister of NPC and MP, C.V.Wigneswaran.  CID Personnel,  from Colombo.

The CID has undertaken inquiries regarding his statement that the Tamils are the most ancient settlers of Sri Lanka. This inquiry was made at his residence at Temple road, Nallur.

The inquiry which started at 4.00 p.m. extended into the night. The CID has made a similar inquiry from him before the General Election.

The inquiry centred on a statement he had made that Tamils are the most ancient settlers of Sri Lanka.

    What a nonsense! what were said by Justice C V Wigneswaran MP were 110% truth. I could not understand why the Sri Lanka government behave in this manner. The prime minister, Hon Modi, had already told the same in public. I believe that UN might have known all the facts about the history of Tamil language which is a well-established entity. The CID should act against the hard-core criminals and other culprits in order to attract bona fide foreign tourists to boost the economy.
