SF- Jaffna Commander call Northern youth to join the Army to develop the North

The Commander of SF-Jaffna, Maj. Gen. Senerath Bandara has put out a call to the youth of North to join the Army to develop the Jaffna District.

A meeting for providing awareness on the National drive to recruit youth to the Army was held at the District Secretariat, Jaffna presided by the GA, K.Mahesan with the participation of Major Gen. Senerath Bandara, the Additional Government Agent, Pratheeban, the Additional GA(Land), Murali, the Divisional Secretaries of Jaffna Districts and the officers Commanding of the Army Units.

90 vacancies are existing in Agriculture , Mason, Carpentry and Electrical Units and by joining the Army the youth could develop the Jaffna District and their future, said the Commander.
