17 tested for Corona in Jaffna – all negative, says the Director, Teaching Hospital, Jaffna

The Director of Jaffna Teaching Hospital, Dr. Sathiyamoorthy said yesterday that 17 persons were tested for Corona in Jaffna and that all 17 were free of Corona.

As a first step 32 persons identified as having contact with Corona affected person were subjected to Corona test.

Out of them results for 17 persons were received at 8.00 p.m. yesterday.

08 from Manipay, 06 from Ariyalai and 03 from the special Corona Ward at JTH were persons who were confirmed negative. Further, the results of the testing of the blood samples obtained on Friday from  18 person at Thavady had not been received, he said.
