18 families in Poompugar in Jaffna isolated and antiseptics sprayed yesterday

18 families in Poompugar, including that of a Christian pastor,  who had attended the religious service at the Philadelphia church at Ariyalai conducted by the Swiss Pastor were isolated yesterday and antiseptic medicine sprayed in all 13 lanes of Poompugar.

These families were suspected of corona infection as they had attended the above service. STF, Police and Health Department personnel were engaged yesterday in isolating and spraying the anti infection spraying.

The isolated families have been provided with their food needs by both the Government and non- Governmental agencies.
