2, 463 Metric Tons of paddy purchased in the North

2,463 MT of paddy had been purchased by the Paddy Marketing Board to date, said the Regional Manager, Paddy Marketing Board , W.R.A Shantha Kumara.

He also said that they are planning to purchase 10,000 MT from the North at the rates  of 45/= and 50/= per kilo, for Red and White Nadu and Sampa varieties respectively.
