50 tested for Corona in Jaffna- All negative, says Director of JTH, Dr. T.Sathiyamoorthy.

The Director of Jaffna Teaching Hospital, Dr.T.Sathiyamoorthy said yesterday that 50 persons in Jaffna were tested for Corona yesterday.

As per the results of the tests conducted at the Medical Faculty of the University of Jaffna, all were found to be negative.

The blood samples of 30 persons from Jaffna Municipal Council’s MOH area, and 03 persons admitted to Jaffna Hospital were drawn and sent to the laboratory of the University. further, second samples of 11  persons  who had attended the service of the Swizz pastor were also sent there. The samples of 5 persons who had returned from abroad and isolated in Kilinochchi District along with 11 other persons from Kilinochchi were sent to the Laboratory.

All these samples were tested for Corona and it was confirmed no one of them is afflicted with Corona, he said.
