7 killed as heavy rain lashes Hyderabad

Heavy rains claimed seven lives in Hyderabad, four from a family in Ramanthapur at Uppal and three of another family at Bholakpur in Musheerabad..The city witnessed heavy downpour that reached up to 95.75mm in two hours.

In New Delhi, heavy rains caused waterlogging in many areas and massive traffic jams on Wednesday morning.

Rains also choked roads in Gurgaon due to waterlogging. The weather office has forecast thunderstorm with rain through the day(THE HINDU,2016)
