800 years old Chinese Clay pot found in Allaipiddy

A Chinese make clay pot around 800 years old has been found at Allaipiddy in Jaffna.

Professor P.Pushparatnam of the Faculty of History had made this announcement.

This clay pot is a good evidence of the direct relationship between China and Sri Lanka, Pushparatnam said.

It is notable that a Chinese team is undertaking excavations at Aallaipiddy.
