Killer Narcotic ‘Ice’ captured in Jaffna for the first time: One arrested at Pandetharippu

For the first time in Jaffna, the killer narcotic ‘brown Ice’ had been captured. It is a very dangerous drug. One person from Pandatharippu had been arrested on  suspicion of having the narcotic in possession.

The Police pointed out that this killer narcotic had been captured for the first time in Jaffna. The arrest was made yesterday, Thursday.

Following a tip-off received by Vadducoddai Police, a person in Pandarharippu was arrested on suspicion and inquiries on the suspect yielded 85 gms. of the dangerous drug ‘Brown Ice’ were recovered from him. This person who was having the narcotic for sale had been arrested.

While further inquiries are undertaken by Vadducoddai police, the suspect will be produced in Mallakam Court, the police said.
