Women struggling in Kepapulavu  accuse that the Military of photo/video graphing them

The woman struggling for the release of lands at Kepapulavu accused that the military is photographing and videoing them in a threatening fashion.

The Kepapulavu people, who commenced their struggle, on 01.03.2017 had continued their struggle for the 703rd day yesterday. While one lot of lands were released to the people the Army is staying in the other lot.

In a context where the struggle is continued the Army is photographing and videoing the women engaged in the struggle from vantage points in the camp. The stragglers had demanded that this should stop immediately.

Meanwhile, modern high powered cameras had been fitted to the camp and the protesters, people coming to the spot to pledge their support and journalists are being photographed and the details of vehicle coming to the spot are being recorded, said the stragglers.
