Threat to AALs who appeared in the case of 3 youth missing from Navatkuly Camp

State intelligence operatives threatened the AALs, Dr. A. Kuruparan and S. Subasini who appeared for the affected in the habeas Corpus petition for 3 youth who were arrested by the Officer Commanding of Navatkuli Camp and subsequently made to disappear, by taking their photographs on their mobiles, from within the Chavakachcheri Court.

They later escaped from the spot when challenged in the vehicle of the Attorney General’s Department. An intelligence operative also took photos from the vehicle in which the Additional Solicitor General Seithiya Goonesekara traveled.

We will be complaining about this incident to Attorney General and we hope he will action on the offenders.
