Nobody has claimed the land on which President’s Palace in KKS stands, says Governor Ragavan

The Northern Province Governor Suren Ragavan said yesterday that so far no one has claimed ownership for the land on which the President’s Mansion stands in KKS.

The Governor had recently announced that if any owners are there for the lands on which the Presidents Palace stands and the adjoining lands, to contact him and identify their lands.

11 persons have claimed ownership of other lands but not this land he said.

The Governor further said that action is being taken to provide the owners with deeds for their lands during the forthcoming visit of the President.
