17 People-welfare projects implemented in 2019  suspended in Jaffna

It was stated in the DDC meeting of Jaffna District that out of the 29 people welfare  projects to be implemented in Jaffna District 17 had been suspended.

These projects  recommended by the Ministry of National policies and Economical Affairs, Resettlement, Rehabilitation,  Development of Northern Province and Youth Affairs had been suspended and the funds had been returned.

27,300 Million were allocated for 6 projects related to Palmyrah Products, out of which 3 projects had been completed with 3 projects being suspended.

147.651 Million were allocated for  22 projects related to Cooperative development out of which 8 projects had been completed with 14 projects being suspended.
