Grand Rally yesterday in Jaffna insisting Security of women and children – more than 6,000 participate

A grand Rally was held yesterday with the participation of more than 6,000 children , insisting security of women and children.

The Rally which was held under the aegis of a Non Governmental Organization of New Zealand and with the conjunction of Divisional Secretariats and with a theme of “Eliminate violence against women and children”, finally reached Duraiyappa Stadium.

Children who were brought from the Districts of Jaffna ,Vavuniya, Mannar, Kilinochchi, Mulaitheevu participated in the Rally.
