Vavuniya students who won Medals at National Level Honoured by Village people and School Community

Several students with skills are live in obscurity in Vavuniya District. They are in recent times exhibiting their personalities in National and International Level competitions.

Thus two students from Vavuniya/ Suntharapuram MV had won two bronze Medals in National Level Boxing Championships and had created a historical record.

Mylvaganam Plasikka and Rajasekaram Vinotha, who contested in the Under 14 Girls’ Division were selected to the National Level Championships which were conducted at Moratuwa and had won Bronze Medals and had thereby brought honour to their school and Vavuniya soil.

The Village community and the School community joined together in honouring the girls who reached an achievement in the National level, by taking them in a procession from the Puthukkulam Sivan Temple to School where the felicitation was held.
