Arrange a mechanism to bring persons trapped in other districts, request Sivasakthy Ananthan

The General Secretary of Tamil People National Alliance Sivasakthy Ananthan has requested the government to create a mechanism to bring back, persons from Tamil home land including Vavuniya who have got trapped in other Districts including Colombo.

They have gone there for many reasons such as employment, learning, teaching medical treatments and others including business. A situation has developed where, no one could travel from Colombo and other virus alert Districts to other districts, for any reason. As the restaurants have been closed they are unable to find food and means to move their daily life. the families of these persons find it much difficult make their ends meet.

Hence a mechanism should be devised to bring these persons to their own areas to join them their families after necessary medical quarantining, he has requested in a press release issued yesterday.
