The public calls for the removal of Sand bund constructed across the centre of Kili/Sivanagar

The sand bund constructed at the centre of the village of Sivanagr in Kilinochchi  is remaining there without being removed.

This sand bund is in place at the centre of the village where the GTM School, Sivan Temple, Senthuran Pre-School, Public Hall, Community Centre, Elders Society, Primary Health Centre, Karaichchi South MPCS and residences are located.

As it was feared that this bund may contain UXOs, the area is found to overgrown with shrubs.

Although, this matter had been informed to relevant authorities, no action had been taken so far. The Public and Public Organization had requested to find due solution for this problem.
