Corona confirmed in Conductor of the bus in which the Corona infected girl from Pungudutheevu travelled
The conductor of the bus in which the corona infected Pungudutheevu girl travelled was found positive to Corona in the 2nd stage of PCR examination.
The Pungudutheevu girl, who has been found positive had travelled from Colombo on the 3rd of this month had also travelled in the Point Pedro Depot bus.
Following this the driver, conductor and the passengers were quarantined and PCR test undertaken on them. However they were not found positive to Corona in the first stage of PCR tests.
The results of the 2nd stage of PCR tests were received yesterday. The conductor of the bus has been found positive in this test. The Conductor is from Thumpalai.
The Health Department Officials have requested the people of Vadamaradchchi to be more vigilant to health procedures.
