Appoint a Tamil Governor to the North – TNA insists president

Tamil National Alliance had requested the president directly to appoint a Tamil Governor to the North.  This request was made to the president during the Meeting of the TNA with him Yesterday.

TNA also presented following 5 demands to the President and the Prime minister.

1.Appointing a committee to review facilitation of a political solution

2.Appointing a committee for the release of disseised land

3.Release of political prisoners.

4. Replacing of Governors of the Northern and Eastern provincial councils.

5. No ministries to Douglas and Karuna
