Jaffna University’s Sebamalai Gnanaruban wins Most Popular University Sports Star- 2015 award

 In the “Most Popular University Sports Star – 2015” contest conducted among the Sri Lankan Universities, Jaffna University’s Sebamalai Gnanaruban  won the award  winning 5481 votes beating his nearest rival by 2283 votes. He is the only Tamil sportsman among the 16 selected for the final round of voting.

It is notable that he is representing,   Illavalai Young Hentries,University of Jaffna, Jaffna District, Northern Province Anuradhapura Solid and National team.
