NP Governor to assume duties on Monday

Northern Province Governor Pallihakkara is scheduled to assume duties in the Governor’s office in Jaffna on Monday.

He is expected to meet Northern Province Chief Minister Justice Wigneswaran and hold discussions in order to enhance co-operation between the Centre and the province.

He has also held discussions with the defence officials to be appraised of the post conflict security situation in the north.
