Medals to North in Schools Nationals – Herina wins a second Gold

• In Under 18 Girls  Pole vault  Herina of Mahajana won a second Gold clearing 3.10 M.earlier she  had  won a gold in High Jump clearing 1.58M.
•  In Boys Long Jump, S.Senthees won a Gold Medal clearing 6.08 M.
• In Under 20 Boys Discuss – S.Pragasraj of Hartley college Point Pedro threw the Discus to 40.35 M to clinch the Silver.
• In Under 18 Boys, Discuss – T.Abishanth Hartley college Point Pedro threw the Discuss 39.59 M to clinch the Bronze.
• In the National Weight Lifting championships held by National Weight Lifting Federation Jaffna University won 5 medals.
• 58 Kgs group – M.K. Kumuthanjali  lifted 65 Kgs – Silver.
