Sasheendra’s writ application dismissed

The writ application filed by former Chief Minister of Uva province was dismissed by the Court of Appeal yesterday. In his writ application, he challenged the appointment of Harin Fernando as Uva Chief Minister.

Court of Appeal dismissed the writ on the ground that it did not comply with the CA Rule.

The Bench comprised Justice Vijith Malagoda and Madawela.
