5,442 dangerous ‘UXO’ s destroyed, says Manager of SHARP Organization

The Manager of the SHARP organization said that  5,442  dangerous UXOs had been removed by them and destroyed.

The SHARP organization is operating in the Palai  area in Kilinochchi District with the financial assistance of Japanese Government,  has been engaged in demining  from 2016 November and has removed 5,442 dangerous UXOs from 532,391 Square Meters land area in Ambakamam and Thachadampan under Odduchuddan Divisional Secretariat of Mullaitheevu District  and in Mahamalai under Pachchilaipalli Division, said Operational Manager , Retd. Captain  Prabath Narampananwa.

It is notable that  the said organization is engaged in Muhamalai area , on an increased pace.
