Hospital at Mankulam at a cost of 1.3 billion: Says Health Minister of NPC

 The Northern Provincial Council Health Minister said that, it is planned to build a hospital in Mankulam at a cost of 1.3 Billion. He said this while addressing a gathering at the Tilcko Hotel, Jaffna during the Awards Night of Health Services, held on Wednesday.

He said that, although there exists a necessity to treat people with special needs, created by the war,  doctors are found to be short supply. Out of the 101 hospitals in the Province 37 are operating without a permanent doctor.

We have drawn a 5 year Health plan and implementing it, he further said.
