Jaffna Hindu Primary’s Vishalini brings honour to Home land winning under 7 years Chess title
A grade 2 student of the Jaffna Hindu Primary, Vishalini Umakajan made history in winning the Gold in the National under 7 years group Chess Championship.
This is the first time after 1983 that a Gold Medal is being won representing the North in the National Championships.
The National Level Chess Championships were held at the D.S.Senanayake Vidyalaya on the 27th – 30th of this month.
