Sword wielding gang on 30 Motor cycles driven away by Kokkuvil people – 4 arrested with 6 motor cycles

Tension was created on the New Year day  at Kokkuvil by a sword wielding gang  of more than 50  who came on 30 motor cycles with an intention of committing violence and they rounded up by the people of the area.

The fled the area due to the counter attack of the area people leaving behind 4 of their gang and 6 motor cycles.

The incident occurred in front of the Mahatma Gandhiji  Community Centre in Kokkuvil.

4 persons who were caught to the people were handed over at the Police Station.
