16 acre released by Army in Mannar, 44 acre to be released soon, says the Mannar District Secretary

The official documents for releasing 16 acres had been handed over to the District Secretary, by the Army. The District Secretary, C.A.Mohanathas  also said the Army had promised to release 11 acre in Pesalai, 26 acre in Koorai, and 5.6 0 acre  Geevanagar.

16 acre that were under the 54B and 61B, of the Mannar/ Thallady  Army Camp had been released now.

Brig. Senaratne Bandara  of  the 54B and Jema Thilekaratne of 61B handed over the document relevant to the release of these 16 acre.

As the Kaya nagar had been overgrown by jungle it was handed over to the Forest Department and documents handed over to the District Secretary
