Northern Net Ball stars Tharjini and Ezhilenthini presented with Houses by Housing Ministry
All 12 members of the Sri Lanka Net Ball team which won the Championship in the Asian Net Ball Championship – 2018, including Northern Stars, Tharjini Sivalingam and Ezhilenthiny Sethukavalar, had been presented with New houses in the Sayurapura Housing scheme premises in Moratuwa.
Minister of Housing Development Sajith Premadasa handed over the houses to the players.
The Asian Net Ball Championships – 2018 were held in Singapore in 2018 September. The Sri Lankan Team had beaten Singapore by 69: 50 and annexed the championship for the 5th time.
It is notable that the Northern players Tharjini Sivalingam and Ezhilenthiny Sethukavalar were included in the Champion Team.
