‘Battle of the North’ ends in a draw

The 113^th ‘  Battle of the North’  between Jaffna Central College and Jaffna St. john’s College , ended in a draw yesterday.

1^st Innings – 181 all out – High scores- Dinoshan -98,Abinas 24 – Bowling  Iyalarasan 05 wickets.

2^nd Innings  – 245 for 9 wickets, declared – High scores- Thanuyan -66, Sowmian 50 – Bowling  V.Vijaskanth: 4 wickets for 88 runs in 38 overs,05 wickets. S.Mathusan 3 wickets for 51 runs in 22  overs.

Jaffna Central College.

1^st innings – 195 runs.

2^nd Innings – 176 – Mathusan 65 runs. Bowling Abinas 2 wickets for 29 runs in11 overs.
