Discussion about Mannar Beach Park

As a dispute has arisen about the Mannar Beach Park, Mannar Town Council had organized a discussion regarding it as per the request of the public and public organizations.

Members of the Council, Public Organizations, Associations and intellectuals participated in the discussion and put forward their opinions.

In a context where the minutes of the discussion had been made into a Report, the Chaiman of the Town Council, S.Gnaparagasam Antony Davidson had sent copies of the rep[ort to relevant Departments and political representatives.

A decision was taken at the discussion that if a decision favourable to us is not arrived  in the courts, we, the public Organizations, the public and the societies will get together and undertake a non-violent struggle to redeem our lands, he said.
