Modi’s visit to Colombo a turning point: Pon Rathakrishnan

Union Minister Pon Rathakrishnan has observed that the official visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Sri Lanka is hailed as a turning point.
Speaking to the media, Rathakrshnan explained that it was the first occasion on which an Indian Prime Minsiter has ever visited the north where Tamils live predominantly.
He further stated that those who raise voice against the visit, must read the speeches made by Premier Modi and the speech made by Northern Province Chief Minister Wigneswaran. Then they will know the worth of our PM’s visit.
