Permanent Appointments to Volunteer Teachers before New Year, says Minister of State Wijekala
The Cabinet had given approval to absorb volunteer Teachers of the North and East into the Permanent cadre, Minister of State for Education , Wijekala Maheswaran has announced.
In press release of her media unit it has been said the a Cabinet paper was submitted by the Prime Minister on request from the Minister of State, Wijekala Maheswaran for inducting the Volunteer Teachers of North and East into the Teachers’ Service class 3 Grade III, and the cabinet had given its approval on the 14th of this month.
It has been directed to implement this cabinet decision in consultation with the Public Service Commission of North and East.
Minister of State for Education, Wijekala Maheswaran has directed all relevant officers of the Ministry of Education to take all action speedily to grant theses appointments before the New year.The press release also has listed the conditions to qualify for these appointments.
