Retired Senior Navy Officer arrested in connection with the disappearance of 28 Tamil Youths

A retired Senior Navy Officer was arrested day before yesterday, in connection with the alleged abduction, ransom taking and murdering of 28 Tamil youths between 2008 – 2009, by the CID.

Earlier 11 Navy men and the Navy media spokesman were interrogated regarding the above incidents.

It is reported that the above youths were abducted detained at Trincomalee and Chaithiya Road camp in Colombo, and later eliminated.
