Tamil Journalists Felicitated

A felicitation ceremony under the aegis of the Sri Lankan Tamil Journalists Association was to be held at the Colombo Tamil Sangam today Tuesday at 0500hrs.

Journalist who had been active in the field for more than 40 years are to honoured today.

The Bishop of Mannar, Rt.Rev. Rayappu Joseph is participating as the chief guest and various other political leaders and VIPs are scheduled to grace the occasion.

Professor Saba Jeyarasa will deliver a special address on “ The Entry of new Medias and the situation of Traditional Media”.
