TNA is preventing the re-commissioning of KKS Cement Factory, accuses  Riyasayi , Commissioner of Cement Corp

Riyasayi , the Commissioner of Cement Corp accused in Jaffna, that, One TNA MP is preventing the re-commissioning of  KKS Cement Factory in extent 741 acre.

Since, 2,000 employments could be generated here preventing it is a betrayal. Half of the cement imported at a cost of $400 Million into Sri Lanka could be produced here.

TNA is hoodwinking Tamil people that the large holes created by quarrying lime stones, will pave the way for sea claiming large areas. But we are prepared to bring all the needed raw materials by ship from India and Pakistan.With a view to this we have released part of the Cement Corp. land to KKS Harbour  project, he said.
