Hitherto undetected Coral Reef found in Kankesan Seas by Navy divers

The Sri Lanka Navy has announced that hitherto un detected Coral Reefs had been detected in Kankesanthurai seas.

The Navy’s Media unit has announced a beautiful Coral Reefs hitherto undetected was found by the Navy divers operating under the Northern Navy Executive unit. These divers diving expeditions for whole of last week resulting in the Beautiful Coral Reef.

The Navy Diving Officer and navy divers, belonging to the Diving unit of the Navy operating under  the supervision of Officer in charge of Navy Executive unit, Commanding Officer, Rear Admiral  Kapila Samaraweera  has found this Coral Reef.

The Navy Media Unit said that this Coral Reef exists for a length of around 400 meters and consists of essential elements for enhancement of marine life and that the Navy is taking action to preserve this rare find.
