Male and Female teams of North get int the finals of Nation Basket Ball Championships

Both the male and female teams of the North have qualified for finals of the Basket Ball championship of  the 45^th  National Sports Festival.

The Northern girls beat the Southern Province girls in the semi-finals by 67: 42 and the Northern boys beat Eastern Province in Semi Finals  by 66:60.

Northern Province Boxing Championship – Mulaitheevu District  wins Championships  male & female sections.

In the Northern Province Boxing Championships  held among the 5 districts, Mulaitheevu District swept the board winning male and female championships held at Mulai/ Vidyanantha College. Placing are as follows:
