AG addresses on 19 A before SC

Attorney General Wijethileke has stated that the 19 A does not require a referendum to be passed.

He made submissions before the Supreme Court that heard 19 petitions challenging the 19 Amendment. He stated that there are commendable features in the proposed 19 th amendment
