Announcement regarding Muslim Alliance soon: says Hasanally, former Sec. SLMC

The former Secretary of SLMC, Hasan Ali said that, the announcement of the formation the new Muslim Alliance.

The ground work is being vigorously pursued now. Organization has nearly reached its completion now. Documents efforts also hadve reached the final stages, and it is expected that the announcement regarding the formation of the alliance next week.

We are also expecting to meet the Election Commissioner, Mahindha Desappriya and discuss about the Alliance soon.

During the discussions with the people in Batticaloa, people had enthusiastically welcomed the idea of the Alliance. Intellectuals and people are welcoming the idea of all Muslim parties contesting in one Alliance. We are working towards putting the Muslim National Alliance in the arena of the forthcoming Local Government elections, he said.
