Ariyalai Shooting Court refuse to release vehicles connected ti case
In the case of the Ariyalai shooting where a youth was killed the court refused to release the vehicle relevant to the case without proper Certification.
On the 28th last December, a youth named Don Bosco Dinesan (aged 24 years) of ariyalai was shot dead. It was alleged that the STF in Jaffna is responsible for the shooting. 2 STF personnel were arrested and are in remand. Their case came up for hearing and STF appeared in the court and applied for the release of the STF vehicles, captured from Pannai STF Camp.
If the vehicle are to be released, a letter from the Ministry of Defence along with the details of who is taking over the vehicles, should be submitted, said the court and postponed the case to the next 20th.
