Ariyanenthiran accuses SLMC of duplicity

Tamil National Alliance Batticaloa District Parliamentarian P.Ariyanenthiran has accused Sri Lanka Muslim Congress of duplicity in respect of the claim for the post of Chief Minister of Eastern Province.

He charged that that there is no rhyme or reason in the stand taken by the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress on the issue of the post of Chief Minister in the Eastern Province. SLMC which rejected the offer made by the Tamil National Alliance to take over the post of Chief Minister during the Rajapakse regime now demand on having the post under the rule of President Maithripala Sirisena. TNA demands what is its right by virtue of the votes secured by it during the last election.
