Arms ship of Tigers sunk in deep sea

An arms ship captured from LTTE was sunk in the deep seas off Negombo. A ship used for deep sea transport by Tigers had been captured by the Sri Lankan Navy in 2009. This ship captured in Indonesia,  was brought to Colombo, numbered A-522 and used in the name of We Ling. Consequent to this ship becoming desolate, the Navy tried to sell this ship, but there were no takers.

Thereafter with the permission of the Sri Lanka Government, the Navy towed it to the Deep sea and sunk it there.
