Army asks for 1,200 million for moving back army positions.

The Ministry of Defence had asked for 1,200 million to move back the army positions in the lands earmarked for release to people.

The Ministry of resettlement submitted cabinet paper for the release 1,500 acre. The Cabinet will take it for consideration only after approval from the Ministry of Defence. A team from Defence  Ministry including the Secretary to the Defence Ministry, made a field study on 23rd regarding this.

The Army had requested 1,200 million to move back army camps in residence of people and other positions back and strengthen them. It was recommended that the ministry of Defence could allocate 600 million and the Resettlement Ministry could allocate 600 million.
