The Art of yoga introduced as a subject in the University of Jaffna, says, Dr.Aaru Thirumurugan

The Faculty of Hindu Culture has been inaugurated in the University of Jaffna. They invited me also as a member of the committee for composing the Syllabus related to Hindu Culture.

The incumbent VC of Jaffna University, Prof. S.Srisatkunaraja, Prof.  Kopalakrishna Iyer, Prof. Vethanayagam, Prof. Dr. Suganthy Muraleetharan and myself, as group had submitted a report on  Future Planning of the Faculty of Hindu culture, to the University Grants Commission. The UGC has approved and very soon the Art of Yoga will be a subject under Hindu Culture, said the Chairman of the Sivabhoomy Trust and the President Thellipallai Thurgadevi Temple, Dr,Aaru Thirumurugan.

The publication of the book on “Sitharkal Vali  Yoga mattum unavu Maruthuvam” written by Natural food and Herbal Doctor Nagalingam Kunasingam was held recently  at the Inuvil Manchathady Arunakirinatha Sivasubramaniyar Hall.

Dr. Aaru Thjirumurugan said as above while participating in the above function as the Chief Guest.
