Asgiriya Prelate’s death; April 12 declared day of mourning

Sunday, April 12 has been declared a day of mourning to mark the death of Asgiriya Chapter Maha Nayaka Sri Udugama Buddharakitha Thera. All public and private institutions have been requested to fly the national flag at half mast on the day.
