Attempt to acquire a land of private person in Mandaitheevu for the use of Navy-Surveying to be done today

A protest struggle was staged today in Mandaithivu, Jaffna to stop a land surveying for the purpose of acquiring it for the use of the Navy. Members of political parties and the public  participated in this protest.

A piece of land in extent of ¼ acre located at the three junction area in Mandaitheevu belonging to a private person was to be surveyed today.
